The different stages of your move

1 - The technical evaluation visit
According to your availability, our sales advisor will schedule a technical assessment visit with you. During this visit, they will assess the volume of your furniture to be moved and gather essential information to customize your quote: your rank, family situation, distance to travel, access conditions, floor level, parking possibilities and addresses, as well as details regarding your next deployment.
They will be available to address all your questions, whether practical or technical, related to the move. You can rely on them as your main point of contact, guiding you through each step of the process.
2 - The preparation of the quotation
Following our discussion and considering all the specificities related to your situation, we will provide you with a detailed quotation, compliant with the requirements of military regulations. Additionally, if your relocation is towards an overseas or international destination, we will supply you with a list of necessary documents along with information regarding the customs regulations of the destination country.
3 - The moving planning
Once your signed agreement is returned, we can schedule your move. Several key elements need to be taken into consideration to ensure a smooth transition:
- The date of your relocation
- The date of implementation
- Timeframes associated with maritime and/or air transportation
- Customs clearance times
- The availability date of your new accommodation

4 - The relocation
We offer a dedicated team of experienced professionals skilled in both international and domestic relocations.
Your items are meticulously packed using tailored materials such as custom-made wooden crates, covers, wardrobes, or cartons. Our trucks, equipped with ramps designed for our chassis, enable seamless loading of your belongings and vehicle at your location.
Finally, our team ensures the security of your belongings by sealing your container or crate until it reaches its final destination.
Remember to provide the team leader with the necessary documents on the day of the move :
- Copy of your identification document
- Copy of your transfer order
- Original vehicle registration document
- Cheques for payment of services
5 - The tracking of your personal belongings

6 - A customized delivery
At your arrival to your new assignment location, we recommend you to directly contact our local agent. They will guide you through any necessary formalities to complete and arrange the delivery of your belongings according to the arrival of the ship.
7 - Your moving file
Each military personnel is required to provide various documents to their administration, such as a copy of your passport, a certificate of non-lien, and copies of insurance certificates for your vehicles, to finalize their file and obtain a full refund. Our administrative service will provide you, in a separate envelope, with your waybills, the paid invoice, supporting documents, the delivery receipt, and insurance certificates.
8 - Payment Settlement
If you wish to postpone a payment, please send your request by email to comptabilite@amdt-demenagement.com at least 4 days before the scheduled due date.
Security and Comfort of Storage
During your overseas moves, we offer you the option to store your furniture in our storage facilities. Following a direct pickup from your home, your furniture is carefully packed and placed in ventilated wooden containers, available in capacities of 8m³ or 12m³, with materials tailored to the nature of your belongings (clothing, furniture, glassware, etc.).
These containers are clearly labeled with essential information for traceability and stored in our secure warehouses, spanning over 5500 m² and under constant video surveillance with alarm connected to a private security company.
