Definitions

Publisher: The individual, whether a natural person or a legal entity, who publishes the online communication services.
Website: The collection of websites, web pages, and online services offered by the Publisher.

If you connect your account to an account of another service in order to cross-post, that service may provide us with your profile information, login details, as well as any other information you have authorized for disclosure. We may aggregate information relating to all our other Users, groups, accounts, with the personal data available on the User.


5- Collection of identity data

Free consultation
Browsing the Site does not require prior registration or identification. It can be done without you providing any personal data (name, first name, address, etc.). We do not record any personal data for simply browsing the Site.


6- Collection of identification data

Use of User ID for matching and commercial offers
We use your electronic identifiers to search for existing connections via email address or other services. Your contact information may be used to enable others to find your account, including through third-party services and client applications. You can upload your address book so that we can help you find acquaintances on our network or allow other users of our network to find you. We may offer suggestions to you and other network users based on contacts imported from your address book. We may also collaborate with companies offering incentive offers. To support this type of promotion and incentive offer, we may share your electronic identifier.


7- Geolocation

Geolocation for service provision
We collect and process your geolocation data to provide our services. We may use personal data to determine your real-time geographic location. In accordance with your right to object as provided by Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you have the option, at any time, to disable geolocation functions.

Geolocation for cross-referencing purposes
We collect and process your geolocation data to allow our services to identify points of intersection in time and space with other Users of the service in order to present you with profiles of intersected Users. In accordance with your right of opposition provided by the law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you have the possibility, at any time, to deactivate geolocation functions. You acknowledge that the service will then be unable to present you with profiles of other Users.

Geolocation with provision to partners for referencing and aggregation (with opt-in)
We may collect and process your geolocation data with our partners. We undertake to anonymize the data used. In accordance with your right to object provided for by law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you have the possibility, at any time, to deactivate geolocation functions.


8- Collection of terminal data

Collection of profiling data and technical data for service provision
Some of your device's technical data is collected automatically by the Site. This information includes your IP address, internet service provider, hardware configuration, software configuration, browser type and language... The collection of this data is necessary for the provision of services.

Collection of technical data for advertising, commercial, and statistical purposes
Technical data from your device is automatically collected and stored by the Site for advertising, commercial, and statistical purposes. This information helps us personalize and continuously improve your experience on our Site. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (such as name, address, etc.) that may be associated with technical data. The collected data may be resold to third parties.

9- Cookies

Cookie storage duration
In accordance with CNIL recommendations, the maximum storage duration for cookies is 13 months from their initial deposit in the User's terminal, as is the validity period of the User's consent to the use of these cookies. The lifespan of cookies is not extended with each visit. Therefore, the User's consent must be renewed after this period.

11- Duration of personal data retention and anonymization

In accordance with Article 6-5° of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, personal data undergoing processing shall not be retained beyond the time necessary for the performance of obligations defined at the time of contract conclusion or for the predefined duration of the contractual relationship.

Retention of anonymized data beyond the contractual relationship / after account deletion
We retain personal data for the strictly necessary duration to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Beyond this period, they will be anonymized and kept solely for statistical purposes and will not be exploited in any way.

Data deletion after account deletion
Data purging mechanisms are implemented to ensure effective deletion as soon as the retention or archiving period necessary for the accomplishment of the determined or imposed purposes is reached. In accordance with the law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, you also have a right to delete your data which you can exercise at any time by contacting the Publisher.

Data deletion after 3 years of inactivity
For security reasons, if you have not authenticated yourself on the Site for a period of three years, you will receive an email inviting you to log in as soon as possible, otherwise your data will be deleted from our databases.


12- Account deletion

The User has the option to delete their Account at any time, either by a simple request to the Publisher OR through the Account deletion menu in the Account settings, if available.

In the event of a breach of one or more provisions of the Privacy Policy or any other document incorporated herein by reference, the Publisher reserves the right to terminate or restrict, without any prior notice and at its sole discretion, your use and access to the services, your account, and all the Sites.


13- Indications in case of security breach detected by the Publisher

We are committed to implementing all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security adapted to the risks of accidental, unauthorized, or unlawful access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction of your personal data. In the event that we become aware of illegal access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our service providers, or unauthorized access resulting in the risks identified above, we undertake to:

  • Notify you of the incident as soon as possible ;
  • Investigate the causes of the incident and inform you about them ;
  • Take necessary measures within reasonable limits to mitigate the negative effects

Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall the commitments defined in the above point regarding notification in the event of a security breach be construed as an acknowledgment of fault or liability regarding the occurrence of the incident in question.


14- Transfer of personal data abroad

15- Modification of the privacy policy

In case of modification of this Privacy Policy, we commit not to substantially lower the level of confidentiality without prior notification to the individuals concerned. We undertake to inform you in the event of a substantial modification of this Privacy Policy, and not to substantially lower the level of confidentiality of your data without informing you and obtaining your consent.


16- Applicable law and recourse procedures

Arbitration clause
You expressly agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, including its interpretation or execution, shall be subject to arbitration proceedings under the rules of the arbitration platform chosen by mutual agreement, to which you shall adhere without reservation.


17- Data portability

Data portability
The Publisher undertakes to provide you with the opportunity to have all data concerning you returned to you upon simple request. The User is thus guaranteed better control of their data and retains the possibility of reusing it. This data must be provided in an open and easily reusable format.
