Your moving professional is equipped to offer you all types of packaging, suited to your furniture needs.
Consider boxes for books
Smaller in size, they can be quickly identified by their dimensions, are easily transportable, and you won't be able to fill them to the point of being unmovable !
Think about wardrobe boxes
Extremely convenient, these allow you to store all your hanger clothes in cardboard wardrobes that also come with hanging rods.
How to properly tape a box ?
Fold it up ; for the bottom, place a strip of tape along its length to seal it, then reinforce it with two strips on either side across its width. Your box should be evenly filled to the top, so items don't shift, and boxes don't collapse under weight if they're stacked. Then, tape the top of your box in the same manner as the bottom, overlapping the tape over the already positioned strip.
Final tips
Remember to label your boxes with their contents and indicate which side is up, specifying "FRAGILE" if necessary. There's nothing more frustrating than having to open 15 boxes before finding the urgently needed item.
Your furniture will be wrapped in blankets or bubble wrap by the movers. For special and fragile items, custom wooden crates can be made upon request. Your sales consultant will not fail to measure the items in question.
